Cinnamon chicken

Step 1

1. Season the chicken with salt and “El Avión” pepper.

2. Flour the pieces and shake them to remove the excess flour and then sauté them in the hot oil until they are golden on all sides. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2

3. Remove part of the oil and in the remaining amount fry the slices of bread and almonds (being careful not to burn them). Remove both ingredients and grind them in a mortar. Set aside.

4. In that same oil, fry the onion and the garlic, both peeled and finely chopped. When they begin to turn golden (about 7 minutes), replace the pieces of chicken in the saucepan, add the parsley, the wine and the ingredients ground in the mortar previously dissolved in 2 glasses of water. Sprinkle with “El Avión” cinnamon and stir with a wooden spoon.

Step 3

5. Let it cook with the saucepan covered for 40 minutes, more or less, and serve sprinkled with “El Avión” chopped parsley.
